Tickets For Troops partnership back for fifth year
A popular agricultural show is offering free tickets for a fifth consecutive year to the armed forces in recognition of their service.
Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society (KADAS), which organises the Kenilworth Show, will be providing 100 free tickets as part of the Tickets For Troops offer.
This will mark the fifth year that the show has partnered with Tickets For Troops to offer the tickets - first teaming up in 2014.
Tickets For Troops specialise in rewarding current-serving personnel and those medically discharged from military duty since 2001 with tickets to an event of their choice.
The Kenilworth Show – Coventry and Warwickshire’s biggest one day agricultural show - will be held on the showgrounds opposite Stoneleigh Park on Saturday, June 9.
The show features a huge agricultural and entertainment programme, including the Grand Parade of Livestock, farm machinery show and many more attractions in the main ring.
Sophie Fallows, Partnerships and Operations Executive at Ticket for Troops, says the tickets are always popular with members of the armed forces.
“It is fantastic to be entering into a fifth year of partnership with the Kenilworth Show,” said Sophie.
“We will be able to offer 100 tickets this year and they are always claimed very quickly – it is a hugely popular event.
“We look forward to continuing to work with KADAS in the future and would like to thank them for what has been a great five years so far.”
Kenilworth Show director Charlie Weetman added: “This is our way of saying thank you for all the hard work our servicemen and women do.
“It is an honour to welcome the armed forces to the Kenilworth Show and we hope they all enjoy the day this year.”
