CAR SOS presenter Fuzz Townshend to judge classic cars show
CAR SOS presenter Fuzz Townshend will be on hand to judge the classic car competition at the Kenilworth Show.
Fuzz, who has recently moved to Kenilworth, will present the Peter Yardley Perpetual Cup to the best car on display.
It will be the third time the trophy has been presented, which remembers ardent show supporter Peter Yardley, who passed away in 2016.
The cars will be on show throughout the day and will also do a short tour of the Main Ring, giving visitors the chance to see the classic vehicles in action.
Fuzz said: “I'm looking forward to visiting the Kenilworth Show on Saturday and to seeing plenty of locally kept classic vehicles.
“Whether they be shiny showboats or hard-worked 'oily rag' machines, I know that they're all cherished by their owners and I'm hoping to pick out one or two for special awards.
“However, I know that classic cars are only one part of this great, local show so checking out the many aspects of life in and around my new home town of Kenilworth will be a pure personal pleasure, whatever the weather. I hope to see you there.”
Gates open at 9am on Saturday, June 8 and a free shuttle bus will run from Kenilworth Clock Tower to the show throughout the day.
Advance tickets cost £12.50 and are available from www.kenilworthshow.co.uk – with entry priced at £15 on the day.
Tickets can also be purchased from Kenilworth Library and Farmers Fayre at Stoneleigh Park.
